Thanks Usha Harish for organizing this unforgettable Uganda experience. Travelling with you, Usha I have realized that travel is not about the perfect experiences or capturing the perfect moments but enjoying whatever each moment has in store. In this wonderland of Uganda, the sight of the Matoke (banana ) farms, jackfruit laden trees and the excitement of eating one, the happy smiling faces of the little kids waving out as we pass by, the warm and welcoming Ugandan people and the grand vistas were as exciting as the encounter with the Gorillas, the Chimps, the tree climbing lions and the wonderful birding all around. A big thanks to Godfrey for his patience and enthusiasm in taking us around, adhering to our requests to stop or take a detour for birding or to enjoy the view as we drove. Needless to say, I thank all my fellow travelers Nili, Komal, Purvi, Kamal and all those who joined us for the Gorilla trek, who have made this experience a memorable one. The journey has just begun….looking forward for more to come!

Traveling to the African wilderness left us a little skeptical since we had to step out of our comfort zone. But from the day we landed at NBO to the day we boarded our return flight, all our needs were absolutely taken care of by our tour advisor- Usha Harish. Planning a trip was much easier with her; as all my queries were addressed promptly by her. I should say Usha had taken extra care In arranging a wonderful stay at the “olapa camp” and in providing the company of an expert safari guide and driver- Mr.Robert Ngurungo. Being an acclaimed wildlife photographer who understands the Kenyan wilderness, Usha had fine- tuned our trip in a way to fetch the best of animal sightings so that we could click amazing pictures at a close range.I am totally delighted to have planned a trip under her guidance. Thanks Usha for all your expert advise.Really a trip to cherish…

Usha is an amazing human being and that is reflected in her enthusiasm in showing guests around the savannah. Her encyclopaedic knowledge on both the wildlife and photography is a welcome supplement in the safari drive. And one cannot but thank enough her Man Friday , Jacob , for his uncanny anticipation of animal movement and perfect positioning of the vehicle for the best camera shot. A word of praise also for our other driver Robert for his tireless enthusiasm.

I am not a photographer. However the safari with Usha was most thrilling and joyous . She has taken care of me so well so that I never felt left out. The camp was too good what with the Masai’s hospitality , their respect for the tourists , their behaviour etc. Not but not the least was the expertise of the Masai guide Jacob. Overall an event to remember for years to come

Usha did a wonderful job of organising each and every minute detail of the safari… down to making the safari vehicle photography friendly. Obviously, we gained a lot of insights into wildlife photography from Usha’s experience. Her best contribution was Jacob, our driver and guide, who was exceptional and it was his skills that enabled us to see 7 different leopards on this trip, a record of sorts. The accommodation was unique and exciting, right in the middle of the African bush, with Hippos, lions and hyenas for company. Quality of stay was quite up to our expectations.
