Meeting Usha was serendipitous. To come across a woman who shares my passion for wildlife and photography was a feeling I really can’t express in words. Usha is an excellent mentor. I tend to get nervous and frustrated when I’m first learning something and not getting desired results. Usha didn’t let me feel that way. It was like I was meeting an old friend and hanging out with her. Throughout the Photo Safari, Usha was kind, patient and very enthusiastic. She was also humble. She is a far superior photographer than I am, yet she never critiqued my photos harshly. That only encouraged me to do better. Usha offered different suggestions and I tried out those suggestions. She made it easy for me to follow her instructions and her lead and it made a huge difference to my photos. Usha’s customized photography vehicle is also fabulous. It allows you to get low angles and its openness makes sure you are able to get into different positions easily. The guides who work for Usha are also fabulous. We probably had the best guide in all of Mara, who understands and predicts animal behaviour with a precision I’d never experienced before. He has worked with Usha for quite sometime now and knows where to position the vehicle for the best possible photos. The photo safari with Usha was a splendid experience that I can’t wait to repeat .

New in Kenya, after a long house arrest due to Corona and desperate for a vacation we landed in Mara for a 4 day vacation…..Usha planned this amazing vacation in Mara during migration time for us with our lil 5 year old…..USP of Usha is you dont just see many rare animals but experience the entire story of each animal. Her trusted guide Jacob is a wonder seems like he has a telepathy with the wild. Bonus you get amazing photography tips and photo ops. Out of the world experience. Highly highly recommend Usha. In Ushas words ‘Nature cannot be scripted’..so true….come with no expectations n believe us we got the most unexpected treats from nature…Thanks Usha. Look fwd to many more trips to Mara with you.

I relied on Usha to organize the first Safari with my baby girl. She did a wonderful job and took care of all the details and made sure that we had everything we needed traveling with a young child. Usha organized everything perfectly so the only thing we had to do is enjoy the beauty of the Masai Mara!!!!

Usha’s photos exhibit a rare sense of romanticism about them. A lot of pictures found on the internet may be technically correct and make for pretty looking pictures, but they lack emotions and are lifeless. Usha has the art of capturing basic animal behavior which is rarely seen. Her photos exude genuine love and concern for wildlife and that is really what strikes a chord in me.

I have had the good fortune of going on a safari with Usha and also those that are organized by her. Me and my family vouch for safaris with Usha any day. Usha makes the safaris that much more exhilarating with her child like enthusiasm for wildlife. We are itching for our next safari with Usha, hopefully with our little champ Shashwat and Harish.
